Acupuncture and Recovery

Acupuncture Turbocharges Recovery

Acupuncture has long been the most effective adjunctive modality in detox and recovery settings.

A Yale study Published in the August 14, 2000 issue of the Archives of Internal Medicine found that nearly 55% of cocaine addicts who received acupuncture  tested clean at the end of the program compared to 23.5 percent of those that didn’t receive acupuncture. Another study published in 2006, in the Journal of Dual Diagnosis, 2006, vol. 2, no4, revealed that 61% of those who received acupuncture treatments completed their treatment program, in contrast to 32% of those who were not treated with acupuncture.
